The mare Nevada was born in 1970 at the Russian State Stud of Tersk. Her sire was the grey Aswan who was imported to Russia from Egypt. Her dam's sire Nil was also from Egypt but not that influental than Aswan who produced excellent broodmares.
As a two years old Nevada was exported to Germany where she became foundation mare of Henry Garde's stud. Her most influental daughter was Neschi by Kilimandscharo who was dam of the four full-brothers Negresco, Nagadir, Neschnij and Nadir I (all by Neman) as well of the mare Nascha (also by Neman) who founded a dynasty of her own at Sax Arabians.
Nevada is a German Elite mare.
